THE PROJECT
THE PROJECT
Since the 1800s, Holy Trinity Wandsworth has been at the heart of life in the London borough. We had the honour of creating a new brand identity for the church, bringing it into the modern era while keeping it rooted in its history. From the kick-off we had two key guides to the creative process: reaching the people of Wandsworth and reflecting the church itself. The demographic of the area is notably young (even for London) – we wanted the brand to feel relevant, accessible, and simple. The voice and visuals were designed to feel welcoming, inviting, and slightly off-kilter, helping to bring informality to a traditional environment. Gradients bring a sense of fluidity and sponteneity to a red palette chosen to capture the church's distinctive interior. A new logo featuring an abstract cross at the centre and varying opacity is used flexibly across the design system.
